The Challenge

Chiseled abs… Striated delts… Deep-cut horseshoe tri’s. That’s what you – and every other bodybuilder - want. Ripped from head to toe. Right? Of course. So here’s the question: with such a clear goal, why is it so difficult to achieve? Here’s why I’m asking that question (yes, I’ll be answering it in a moment). Once you fully understand the real obstacle you face in getting that highly “defined” physique, then – and only then - can you take decisive action to completely overcome it. For you, that means understanding the role evolution and genetics plays in fat loss - then taking the scientifically-validated steps required to beat it!

“Your” Goals versus “Your Body’s” Goals

Does your body have a mind of its own? Yes! It’s a product of evolution. Hundreds of thousands of years before Arnold created his “Classic in Ohio,” your ancestors stared down lions, ice ages and famine. Fortunately for you, they were resourceful. They found a way to adapt (keep that word in mind) and survive. They paid you the favor of passing down their “survival” genes (a.k.a. your genetics).

Now here’s where the problem starts. Look at your life now. You’re refrigerator is stocked. You’ve set your temperature at 72° F. And all the lions (where you live) are in cages. Your “goals” are different. Survival is no longer an issue. Impressing the opposite sex is. So an awesomely “cut” body is your goal. Here’s what the “You versus Your Body” score card looks like now.

Your Body: Your body “fights” to maintain a storehouse of fat. Why? So it always has a “back-up” energy reserve. As you probably know, your body cannot “stockpile” carbohydrates or protein to use as energy sources. But it can “warehouse” fat. And unlike carbs and protein that yield only 4 calories of energy per gram, fat unleashes a bell-ringing 9 calories. Your body views maintaining these fat stores as very efficient. And it makes sense. Wouldn’t you rather go food shopping once a week instead of every single day?

You: You, not surprisingly, want to get rid of fat. It obliterates the muscular definition you want.

The Fight is On

That’s why your body “fights back” when you try to change it. It wants to maintain its own sense of equilibrium. Its own version of the status quo. That means zero change. But as a bodybuilder that’s just what you want - CHANGE. You want more highly-defined muscles. In other words, clear out the fat stores. So the “battle lines” are drawn. And they’re clearly defined:

Your body thinks in terms of “EFFICIENCY”
But...
You think in terms of “AESTHETICS”

And if you want to make significant gains, you have to force your body to see things from your point of view. Make it “believe” in your sense of reality. That means you have to force it to adapt to a “totally new set of circumstances.”

“Convincing” Your Body to Adapt to YOUR Goals

If fat we’re really easy to lose, Jenny Craig would be a pauper. But with the proper “interplay” of training, nutrition, and the supplements I’ve developed for you… you CAN do it. No question. But the key is consistency. Remember I told you to keep the word “adapt” in mind? Here’s where we apply it. Your body can “learn” to do whatever you want it to. It can “adapt” itself to a new physiological reality. But it doesn’t happen overnight. Only after hundreds of repetitions (day after day consistency) does your body realize the absolute “need” to adapt. To change its “pre-programmed” reponses. Yes, the right exercises and nutritional plans are vital. And don’t worry. I’ve laid them all out for you here (see Training for Cuts and Eating for Cuts). But here’s your biggest advantage. The one that “tips the scales” in your favor. And guarantees you total victory…

The Metabolic “March” into Your Future!

Call it the “Pathways to Enhanced Metabolism.” It’s the new battle ground, for sure. Hit the right “target” and off goes the fat. Now here’s the really exciting news. At MRI’s International Research and Development site, in Europe, a stunning new discovery was recently made. The scientists isolated one tiny peptide “fraction” (one part in 2,000) that is proven to strip off body fat – in humans! The fraction is known as “VAT-Burn” – short for Visceral Adipose Tissue Burn. You can get more details in Supplements for Getting Cut.
